Under My Lenses

Lantern on a SunsetI was getting a time off from work to relax in Pundaquit Beach, Zambales, Philippines when I spotted this scene worth capturing under a sunset.

This group of seminarians lit a Chinese lantern which was once a craze after it was made popular by a Disney movie Tangled.

To the Chinese, the lantern symbolizes a lot of things:  a wish for a brighter future, light of hope, and love. They usually come in red which means good fortune incorporated with other colors – white, blue, gold, yellow, orange, green, purple, pink which also comes with their corresponding meanings.
